Gold futures rebounded in Asia session today as the sentiments turns optimistic in the
markets as investors hoped that policy makers would step in to stem growing concerns over
the global economy. An ounce of gold on COMEX division of New York Mercantile
Exchange is trading up $6 at $ 1620 per ounce. It ended lower by $8.2 or 0.5%, to end at
$1,613.9 an ounce. During the session, it traded between a high of $1,629.70 and a low of
$1,610. Yesterday, silver for July delivery ended lower by 51 cents or 1.8% at $28.01. For
the month of May, silver ended down by 12%. MCX August gold may open today's session
above 29970 with resistance around Rs 30050. Yesterday, it closed lower by Rs 181 (0.6%)
at Rs 29,918 per ten grams. Prices rose to a high of Rs 30,110 per 10 grams and fell to a low
of Rs 29,883 per 10 grams during the day's trading.
