MTECHTIPS:-Crude oil futures lower in Asian trading hours
Crude oil futures were lower in Asian trading hours on Friday.On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for July delivery traded at USD83.14 a barrel at time of writing falling 1.99%.It earlier traded at a session low USD82.64 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD81.22 and resistance at USD87.00.US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.21% to trade at USD82.50.Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for July delivery fell 0.34% to trade at USD98.80 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts standing at USD15.66 a barrel.
